In a world thriving with magic, there lived a prince with a terrible curse. He was cursed so young that he did not understand that what he touched with all five fingers he destroyed. It was purely accident when he ripped his own family away from him. As the sole surviving heir, he was taken into the care of an usurping tyrant… and the company of the rats.
After all, the resilient creatures were immune to anything of magical nature. The little prince could pick them up without fear of destroying them with his curse. While the humans mocked his love for the vile creatures, the prince gained the rodents’ undying loyalty. The rats dubbed him their ruler. The humans dubbed him the Prince of the Rats, as he was no Prince Charming, no, he was everything but charming.
and when he hears of another beloved by the rats, he will do everything in his power to make sure he is the only one they adore.
