Summary
Park Jimin arrives in a flurry of too bright laughter and excitement, and Yoongi finds himself entirely unprepared for it.
Life with a travelling circus is hectic, full of glaringly bright lights, thunderous applause and foreign towns who's names are easily forgotten with the roll of each new season.
Yoongi walks it easier than an acrobat would a tightrope, knows with certainty that he was simply born to reign over the skies with his partner and put on a performance worthy of his name as a Dragon Rider.
Circus life is easy for Yoongi - predictable despite the risks. It's home, and he'd do anything to keep hold of it.And so when his cousin suffers a nasty fall, out of commission for the majority of the new season, and they're left without any other option than to bring in fresh meat to replace him, Yoongi finds himself faced with a (petty) battle he had not prepared himself for.
Suddenly circus life isn't so easy, and nor are the feelings he soon learns to associate with one Park Jimin.

Summary
Moments like these, where Yoongi is the happiest, are also the moment’s that hurt the most.
Jimin is his, for the moment. Jimin loves him almost as much. They've been best friends as long as he can remember but one day he's going to meet somebody brilliant and beautiful and fall in love with them in a way he never could with Yoongi.
Alternatively: Jimin and Yoongi grow up a little broken. One day Jimin jokes that when Yoongi gets rich off his mixtape he should be his sugar daddy. Yoongi chokes, it's embarrassing. But when he finally does make it big he keeps his promise.
He's always taken care of Jimin anyway.

He was pretty in that kind of subtle, ethereal beauty that took time to warm up to, once you got over the piercings, dyed hair and sour personality.
Or maybe Jimin just had a type, and Yoongi just fit the bill.
