Summary
In the real world, Kinger only knew you as a work colleague, and Queenie only knew you from his stories. It would be a matter of sheer luck and immense patience for the married couple to become good friends with you. But in the circus, with nothing but time and an extravagant ai, you become so much more than good friends.
Helping them adjust as you become the last three standing with a level of care that's been mistaken for a lover's devotion, the couple decide they must have you. That you're already theirs.
Once the chess pieces have succumbed to their delusions, you cling to Caine, using him as a shield. Unaware that the extravagant AI has always thrived under your attention.

A chess piece shouldn't be so damn attractive, all things considered. Yet here you were, trying your hardest to will the crush that you had on him to go away.
Not that said chess piece would find out, right? The others could know, they'd have to know at somepoint, but if they could just spread it among only themselves, you could live with the constant teasing.

Kinger overheard something he shouldn't, and things escalate when he's all alone in his 'impenetrable fortress'.

Gambit can’t remember much from her time before the circus, but that’s normal, right? She’s a pawn chess piece who has been stuck in the circus for way too long. Yet, while the others want to find a way out, she is content to go on adventures and have tea parties with Bubble and Caine. The others warn her against getting too close to the AI, but she’s known him the longest and knows she can trust him.
