Summary
This short story was inspired by "Who Am I?" by Charlie_W_Hawthorn and takes place after chapter 37.
Caly had been Alastor's therapist (much to his reluctance) for over two months before the battle at the hotel. Just as she was getting him to open up, he loses his memory. When she sees an opportunity to be alone with him, she takes a chance to see if he still trusts her or if she has to start back at the beginning.

Summary
Jax knew everyone in the circus hated him. And good riddance!
He’s a jerk. And he might as well be. Because what’s the point? What’s the point in niceties and fake smiles? People like to smile and act like they’re all friends, but the second things turn messy, the second they see who you really are, you learn that the word “friend” actually has no weight at all.
Everyone is nice and friendly and fake. And Jax doesn’t see the point in pretending. He never has.
...except he still pretends. Just in a different way now. He pretends he has control. Pretends that his life isn't dictated by an unstable AI.
It's not that hard, really, it's not like he had much control before the circus. Hell, back when he had been a human, he wasn't even allowed to be a man.
OR: Jax copes by lying to himself and pushing everyone away, by being an instigator, and it usually works... but recent events are reminding him just how little control he actually has.

Giyuu realised then that he hadn't been seeing this demon as one, but as an innocent human child. And he couldn't bring himself to raise his sword against children.

The realisation hits Martin when he sees the satisfied expression on Jon’s face, thinks about the way that Jon rolls the word around in his mouth, emphasising each of the syllables and saying the word in a slightly different manner each time. He grins.
“Jon,” he says slowly, enjoying being able to take his time with this new realisation, “Are you using my name as a stim?”

Soon after meeting him, Jon picks up the habit of saying Martin's name as a vocal stim. Over the years, this goes from being an inconvenience to an anchor for Jon.
