“I’m sorry. I wanted to turn back around as soon as I walked away. I was angry at the situation, embarrassed to be treated like they see me, like I’m nobody. Especially in front of you.”
Vi’s head hung between them, eyes fixed on their lightly joined hands. Caits thumb traced gentle lines back and forth. She tilted Vi’s chin up with her free hand, forcing her to meet her piercing blue eyes.
“You’re somebody to me, Vi.”

Picks up at the beginning of season 5. This story goes down a completely different path (definitely a more positive one)than what's going on in the show now.

Summary
For ten years, Vi was locked up inside Stillwater.
When she was young, Vander used to tell her that prime alphas like her were rare and different.
