Zenitsu clutched at his blanket desperately. "I.. I don't even know what to address you as. I don't even know if you're really him!"
Tanjirou looked puzzled. "What are you talking about?"
"Enough! Don't play games with me, you.. you! You're not.. You can't be.." Zenitsu shuddered, "You aren't really my best friend, are you? You.. You're not even completely human.." Zenitsu forced himself to maintain eye contact with him, despite the growing pit in his stomach.
Tanjirou's eyes widened with surprise before his gaze softened. "Oh, so that's why you fainted." Was all he said in reply.
"An astute observation. I expected you to figure out eventually, but not so soon." Tanjirou spoke. Zenitsu couldn't find it in himself to meet his gaze.

"Although, you're wrong about one thing." ‘Tanjirou’ added.

Or, at least, not in any ways that actually mattered. Still, Zanka found that he couldn’t stop thinking about it. It haunts him, that scent of sea salt and earth, so intense in his memories that it was almost as if he could still smell it if he idled for long enough. “It’s stupid,” he says eventually, shaking his head in a useless attempt to clear the thought from his head.
“It obviously isn’t, seeing as it has you this stressed out. Come on, just tell me what he did already.” She pushes, elbowing him playfully in the ribs. Still, though, he hesitates, shaking his head again.
“No, Riyo, I’m tellin’ you, it ain’t somethin’ ya need ta worry—”
“You found out that Jabber is an omega, didn’t you?”
Zanka finds out that Jabber is an omega, and it doesn't change much at all. It's not as though Jabber smells really nice or anything like that. Definitely not.
