To put it simply, Kaminari wanted to fuck a ghost. As an incubus, he fed off sex to live. There wasn’t anything to gain by sleeping with a ghost, as they had no energy to give and couldn’t be fed off of, but he simply wanted to say that he had done it.
When he finds a cute ghost, he tries to turn the charm on only for it to go right over the ghost's head. Poor guy was just so excited to finally talk to someone again.
