Summary
Laying there in that hospital bed gave Courtney a lot of time to reflect over what happened the last few days. What she did was reckless yes, and she's trying to be better going forward, but it never jeopardized anything or put anyone else in danger other than herself, at least before Chase did what he did.
But almost everyone she knew gave up on her. A majority of the Z-Team were ready to just toss her to the wayside. Royd said he'd never trust her again. Robert being the kind, generous soul that he is, never stopped, not even when doubts crept into his mind. But what hurt more than any other was a certain blonde superhero throwing out the idea that she should be cut from the phoenix program.
Mandy and Courtney sort through complicated talks and feelings following the events of episode 8. Also slight Visi blender time, but she's alright.

“Yeah? How? You’re out of shit to explode,” Invincible gloated.
“I still have one thing left,” Rex retorted as he started to charge his skeleton.
“Mhm and what’s that?” This overconfident asshat asked as he dared to pull Rex in closer.
“My entire goddamn skeleton dickhead,” Rex triumphantly said before things went white.
Rex is given another chance and will make sure he leaves the earth with no regrets.
