Summary
“—this has something to do with what happened. With Eddie Van Blundht.”
He stirred, tapped the spoon against the rim of the pot and set it aside. Then turned to her and leaned back against the counter, crossing his long legs and bracing on his palms. “What did happen?”
She sipped from her wine to keep her mouth busy. It didn’t help; his gaze followed the wineglass to her mouth, then trailed down her throat as she swallowed. It was warm in here, no doubt from the stove being on.
“You read my report, Mulder,” she said, calmly. “Are you impugning my thoroughness?”
“Never.” For some reason, his voice was thick. His eyes had moved back to her mouth. Now they rose to meet her steady look—slowly, like he was taking his time, taking in the contours of her face. “But given the nature of the… encounter, I have to assume there were details you didn’t include because you didn’t think they would be appropriate for an official report.”

Summary
What was supposed to be a night of drinking and escapism starts dripping sexual tension. Things escalate when Mulder starts to profile Scully. She, in fact, does not take this lightly. He, of course, knows this, because he’s an Oxford man.

Summary
Special Note: I still can’t quite believe this collaboration actually happened—msrafterdark agreeing to create a piece inspired by one of my fanfictions is something I’ve dreamed about for a long time.
A sincere thank you to her, not only for taking the time to read the work, but for bringing it to life in such a beautiful and intimate way. The artwork she created is truly stunning (like all of her work), and I’m incredibly grateful for her talent and generosity.
To everyone reading, I hope you enjoy this fic, and that you love the breathtaking image she made for it as much as I do.
Summary: Mulder and Scully are in the early months of their now-intimate relationship. After a life defined by solitude and an all-consuming devotion to his work, Mulder is beginning to learn what it means to set it aside—not just in theory, but in practice—and to understand, for the first time, what truly comes first when work and love compete for his attention.
