Summary
The summer before college, Mike and Will move into a tiny studio together, ready to start their next chapter — only to discover their across-the-street neighbor has a very public, very active sex life. Their weekly “observations for research purposes” are all jokes and commentary…until one night the neighbor brings home a man, and something in Mike shifts. Suddenly the bit isn’t so funny, the spiral is very real, the lines start to get a little too blurry, and the curiosity feels a bit too personal. Summary
Mike Wheeler and Will Byers grew up playing soccer together in Hawkins, inseparable both on and off the field. Mike was loud, passionate, and fearless—the kind of player who led through sheer intensity. Will was quieter, instinctive, and almost artistic with the ball, seeing plays unfold seconds before anyone else did.
They balanced each other perfectly.
By senior year of high school, scouts started paying attention. Both were offered spots in the same elite development academy—until Will suddenly accepted a transfer overseas without telling Mike first.

Summary
Mike has loved every moment of being Will’s roommate in their shitty two bedroom apartment in NYC. It was a constant, never ending sleepover with his childhood best friend.
It was impeccably perfect.
Until Will ends up restricted in a cast for six weeks and Mike cannot refrain himself from offering his help, no matter what the situation may be.
