Summary
Axl’s working harder than other applicants to become a Maverick Hunter. X, however, is not swayed and still refuses to accept Axl’s application. Zero didn’t want to get involved with stupidity, but he’s sick of those two not making any progress, and even sicker that X took one step forward with returning to the field, only to go back into his office with administrative work.
The problem is that it’s really difficult being X and Zero, after years of being X and Zero.

Without any major threats on the horizon, X and Zero are free to start a family.

They'll try really hard to get it going. Axl is willing to help with whatever a Builder needs for extra support, too, so he can be the best Uncle ever.

Summary
When an undergraduate research opportunity is given to Netto Hikari, it's decided before he could process having to move away that he would accept the position. Hundreds of miles away, the situation is different from the adventures he went on as a child.
While Netto struggles to adjust, Rockman finds himself feeling new emotions as his brother gets to experience the life that being the son and grandson of famous scientists that he can't have.
(Rockman EXE Network Transmission AU - rewrite of the story to take place during Netto's second year of university. No knowledge of the game's story is needed, it's been changed to be practically unrecognizable)

Summary
The war against Sigma ended. It didn't feel like a victory, and X was getting sick of everyone calling him a hero for turning into a monster. He had to become a hunter, a predator, in order to defeat the Maverick Leader. Now he wasn't sure how to turn back into himself without his best friend.
X2 Follow-Up for 'We Must Belong Somewhere', but not necessarily required reading for this. A lot will be similar to 'His' and a work that was deleted back in 2022, but like wmbs, it's being revived properly.
