Summary
Albus Potter is nothing like his father. He would be the first to tell you that. When he embarks on his journey to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, he is accompanied by little more than feelings of isolation and frustration. The cold-eyed stranger and dark rumor he encounters on the train certainly don’t help.

Summary
At eleven years old, Albus has never been anything but Harry Potter and Ginny Weasley's son, his entire life shaped by the most famous surname of the Wizarding community. Son of two living legends and middle child, not even his literally explosive magic skills can convince anyone that he's not just a replica of his parents—that he's an entirely different person, who doesn't deserve or even want all the mediatic pressure weighing on his shoulders. Life frustrates Albus to no end, and all he hopes is for a true friend.
On his first ride to Hogwarts, he and his cousin Rose slip into a carriage with only a sleeping blond boy inside: Scorpius Hyperion Malfoy, child to yet another legendary, if as unpopular as Albus and Rose's parents are loved, wizard. Despite the rumours that follow them around, the three children soon form a bond that's stronger than any gossip. And, although neither Scorpius nor Albus know it yet, the choice they make to stand by each other no matter what will change their lives forever.

Summary
Scorpius Malfoy and Albus Potter have had a weird start to their year--time-traveling, saving the world from Voldemort's progeny, and trying to reconnect with family sounds overwhelming enough to most teenagers--but it turns out Scorpius might have to deal with one more factor after everything that has happened--his relationship with his dead mother ('Am I growing up to be the kind of man my mum would be proud of?' is a question he asks himself often).
Asking himself this question unearths a lot of things about himself he hadn't realized earlier, especially about the relationships he has with people.
