There were some days where she would arrive to the club with bruises and cuts littered on her body, but any time someone would try and ask her about it, she would quickly dismiss it and change the subject. No one would push her on the matter, as it was pretty clear it was something she wouldn't want to discuss.

When a piglet is born, their needle teeth are cut from their mouths. Keeping them in would cause damage to the sow whenever the piglet nurses, those sharp black teeth unintentionally tearing the flesh of her belly raw. Cut them, clip them, grind them down, because it’s better in the long run.
Pomni’s needle teeth were never cut. They still sit in her mouth, primed for blood. Teeth-first, teeth-foremost.
Pomni is touch-starved.
She is also terrified of being touched.

Despite her exhaustion and pain, she glares at the figure shrouded in shadows sitting across from her. She’s never been one to glower at someone with so much seething vehemence, but she’s also never been the type to yank out her own teeth just to tip the scales in her favor, so this is a first time for everything, she supposes.

When Ragatha steps out of her room, she sees three other heads peeking out of their own doors- Kinger, Gangle, and Zooble. The only one who isn’t up is Jax, who either didn’t wake up or doesn’t care enough to see what is going on. Ragatha can’t help but think the reason is the latter of the two, knowing the rabbit.
There’s also one other person who isn’t investigating, but that seems to be because the scream originated from them, as Ragatha sees that everyone is looking in that direction, toward a door with a jester wearing cartoonishly anguished frown on their face plastered on the front.

“You can never just keep your mouth shut, can you?” Zooble grumbles, earning a mischievous grin from Jax.
Not wanting a fight to break out, Gangle says, “I think we saw some board games in one of the storage closets in here.”
“Great!” Jax says. “Pomni, go get them.”
Pomni looks at him. “Huh? Why do I have to get them?”
“Because I said so. Now, chop, chop, jester!”
Pomni grits her teeth, but she also doesn’t want an argument to explode to life when they had been having a rather nice evening, so she swallows her annoyance and stands up. She does her best to ignore the way Jax says, “That’s what I thought,” on her way out.
In which Caine stuffs the gang into a cabin in the woods to bond, and everything goes horribly wrong.
