Such an incredible read. A lovely telling of Colin and Penelope‘s story. All the ways Penelope observed, cared for and loved Colin through his struggles with reading. How that love molded him into the person he became . Once Colin comes to grips with his feelings, his love for her, it pours out through his words. Words that she gave him the strength and skill to use. Caused me to cry at certain points. Worthy of going on my reread list for sure.

What an epic journey of heartbreak and healing. Pen and Anthony together with Colin and Edwina. A shared son. The story is a piece of art. It hurt to read it but in totality it is a beautiful story of hope, healing and love.
