Summary
As the remaining light of day fled the sky and the distant rumble of brontide pierced the damp air, time began to run out for the form. It had been there for days, untouched by anything but nature, and while the LED light in its eyes had managed to remain, now it had begun to flicker. It was a hopeless night, a hopeless storm growing closer, and the glow of the signs’ light reflecting across the puddles was beginning to overpower the form’s own.
He didn’t have much longer at all.

Summary
Nicole and Jecka are not a good match.
They enable their worst habits, hurt everyone around them, and can’t go a month without blowing up at each other. Their communication is terrible, their coping skills minimal, and their ‘solutions’ never actually fix or address anything close to the problem.
They are, by any and all definitions, extremely toxic.
But, really, none of that matters, because they’re gonna make it work no matter who or what they need to sacrifice to get there in the end. They’re not worth the effort? Says who? Not really for anybody else to decide, now is it?
Being alone is bad enough.
Being alone without the one person who really gets you, for better or mostly worse?
Fuck that.

“… You want me to? Right now?” Mizi asks softly, trying to mask all the uncertainties welling up inside her. She’s afraid of hurting Sua again. Afraid of making another mistake.
Or: after they are saved by the rebellion, a clingy desperate Sua longs for an equally clingy desperate Mizi. Neither of them know how to handle it.
