    Summary

Tall and blond. Richard noticed that first. Probably natural, the hair that is, since the curls poking out underneath his western hat weren’t bleached-colored. His height, too, jesus. It wasn’t hard to be taller than Richard, most people were, but he easily towered well over a foot over him, and Richard was the one on the porch. Built like Adonis, hard chest and rippling, swollen arms underneath a flannel, thighs thick with muscles covered by clad jeans, and a strong, square jaw. He had a frustrated hand on his hip, one knee bent that rose the hem of his pant leg, exposing a well-loved pair of boots.

Turn around, Richard silently pleaded, I don’t even know you, but turn around—

    Summary

What happens when the "happily ever after" feels more like a life sentence?

Trapped in a marriage where she receives less than the bare minimum, Hermione finds herself doing all the heavy lifting while her husband only adds to the weight. But the winds of change are blowing through the Wizarding World. When her old teenage sweetheart reappears, he doesn't just offer a helping hand—he lays the entire world at her feet.
Faced with the stark contrast between the man who takes her for granted and the man who treats her like a queen, Hermione has a choice to make. And let’s just say, she’s finished settling for scraps.

Expect a healthy dose of Ron-bashing and plenty of very adult, sophisticated heat.
