Spiderman carries takeout into the college student’s apartment at all hours of the night. And then, he stays there all night. Spiderman carries the student’s backpack to his classes. Spider-Man returns library books for the student, dropping them off in the drop box as he swings past.
It’s obvious, Deadpool thinks. Honestly, he’s surprised he didn’t realize sooner.

“No, I just,” Spidey shook his head, smiling faintly. “I don’t know. You’re different tonight.”
Wade’s grin faltered for a moment, his expression unreadable. Then he shrugged, leaning back against the couch cushions. “Different how? Less murderous? More charming? Or is it the pepperoni breath, because I can fix that.”
“No, I—” Spidey hesitated, setting down his own slice of pizza. “I think... I think we should fuck.”

“Look.” Deadpool looks at him with amusement.
He continues, “I’m sorry for not being all the way there recently and that was really shitty to do to my best friend,” he puts his hand up before Wade can start screaming about how he finally said it.
“And, yes, I will do better but first, you have to stop doing that ‘up-down’ thing,” Wade looks at him confused again but Peter keeps talking. It was his turn to ramble.

Peter tensed. Had someone figured out Spiderman’s secret identity and sicced a mercenary on him to try and catch him when he wasn’t in costume?
As Peter began to spiral, Deadpool glanced down at the newspaper in his lap, looking at the front page cover. He squinted, pulled the paper closer to his face, and then let out an auditory gasp.
“Holy shit balls, you’re the guy who takes all those hot pictures of Spiderman!”
“Excuse me?” Peter said, torn between relief and confusion.
