Summary
All fishermen raised in Johto know the story of how the Lake of Rage came to be. They’re told the moment they pick up their first fishing rod and reel in their first Magikarp how the fury of a hundred Gyarados created a storm so terrible, that the crater left behind formed the largest lake in the region. A lesser known one, however, usually told by the Fishing Guru that lives near the area, is the origin of the red Gyarados that inhabits the Lake of Rage.
Or, a cautionary tale about greed, and to appreciate the Magikarp for what they provide, lest you incite their red brethren’s anger.
