Once upon a time, there was a thief of great renown
The thief had taken a prince for a lover, and so, the two lived happily
However, it was not long before the prince’s lordfather discovered their sordid affair.
Mortally injured by his sire, the prince had died in the thief’s arms, never to draw breath again.
…
Attracted by the thief’s cries of grief, a hero happened upon them:
“O young one drenched in sorrow,
accept this deal, and your beloved will be back
by your side as if it ne’er came to be.”
The thief and the hero sealed their agreement with a ring.
…But was that really such a good idea?

Shen Yuan’s smugness lasted up until Shen Qingqiu whisked him off to the Bamboo House, where Shen Yuan was meant to brew and serve his shizun his first pot of tea as official head disciple. Shen Qingqiu didn’t dump it on his head, thankfully, but he did give Shen Yuan a rather unnerving warning:
“If you have the nerve to present qianyuan in the future, this master will make sure you regret it for the rest of your life.”
Yikes! What the hell was someone supposed to say to that? Got it, I’ll make sure to control this completely uncontrollable fact of nature? Talk about unfair!
Shen Yuan transmigrates into a cannon-fodder NPC in an omegaverse version of PIDW. He tries his best to make the most of it—with a few stumbling blocks along the way.

Summary

Especially because Jinx doesn't have a job, and Caitlyn seems to be wholly providing for him while he sits in her condo all day smoking weed and playing video games. Vi doesn't understand why this doesn't piss Caitlyn off.
What Vi doesn't know is that it was all Caitlyn's idea, and her little brother and her ex-girlfriend have been secretly dating for the past four years.

Two months. Two months since everything went wrong. Since Jinx had jinxed it all again. Two months since something that wasn’t supposed to explode exploded and killed Silco and nearly killed Caitlyn Kiramman.
Two months since Vi made Jinx haul her Piltie girlfriend’s mangled corpse to the same man that had flooded her body with shimmer.
Two months since she watched Singed turn Caitlyn into a monster.
Jinx's tea party goes horribly wrong. At Vi's behest, a nearly dead Caitlyn is taken to Singed. Using leftovers from his work on Vander, he builds a beast that is far more advanced than Warwick. Caitlyn wakes up in an unfamiliar body, bound by the whims of her new animal instincts and the chemtech machinery that's keeping her alive.
