Summary
Yuuji hadn't been expecting to run into so much trouble on his way home but when he sees what looks to be a blind man cross the street in front of a car, he just can't help himself.
Turns out, that was the right thing to do. It soon becomes clear that this man, Gojo, was lost in more ways than just direction.Originally Yuuji was just going to help him on his way to the café, but maybe this meeting had a deeper meaning. Maybe today was about not being alone. He wouldn't pry, but he could give him what he clearly needed: an ear to listen, a word to comfort, and hand guide him, at least for a little while.

He didn’t need six eyes to know Yuuji was bothered.
The clench of his jaw and the dullness in his eyes, the way he curled and uncurled his fists in a mechanical pattern, it was depressingly easy to read.
Maybe he felt bad. Maybe Satoru felt some bit of guilt, taking away so much from Yuuji that the teen could never hope to have a normal childhood. He’d never have a first romance started by a school play, never graduate from a normal high school, never get a usable degree and never achieve any of his real dreams. He was stuck in the shitty life of a sorcerer.
It was the role some bullshit fate chose for him, and the role he’d play till he died. And the worst part was that Satoru knew Yuuji would die gladly in that moment, if he felt some sense of worth in himself.

Summary
Yuuji finds that he likes the attention Gojo-sensei gives him. It heals this tiny part inside of him that was deprived of it in childhood. Though, when things take a turn for the worse and he grows more dependent on his sensei’s attention, Yuuji can’t help but notice the subtle shift in Gojo’s behavior.
