Summary
“Oh!” Subong seemed to realize how that had come off, “Sorry, I just meant, you know... I don’t really talk much with the other tenants, but you shouldn’t have to pretend to be my roommate. You're not my roommate, Namsu, you’re my boyfriend. They should know that.”

Summary
There’s Nam-gyu everywhere he looks. There’s Nam-gyu in the crowd, screaming his lungs out to the rhythm of the song. He’s not really there in person, but that’s how they met, and the moment itself is carved into the back of Su-bong’s mind, and there’s no way he can stop thinking about it now. His boy’s gorgeous black eyes are definitely watching him, Su-bong knows. Maybe not from the audience – even if it feels that way – but probably from the couch, music playing throughout their otherwise quiet apartment. Maybe Nam-gyu misses him the same way. Maybe he’s even wearing Thanos’ shirt. Maybe he’s thinking about…
or,
Thanos thinks about fucking Nam-gyu instead of doing his actual job and gets rewarded for it. Wow.

Summary
Hope, maybe. Or something kinda like it.
It burns bright in Su-bong's chest. Always brightest in moments like these – quiet, slow, easy – and at least somewhat effective when it comes to warding off all the horrible shit when it comes. Not entirely foolproof, especially given how prone Su-bong is to it, but still. Keeps all that festering rot and itchy, too big for his skin feeling at bay long enough that something else entirely dares to bloom. Takes root between ribs, grows right alongside all that’s messy and awful and blossoms anyway. Clovers between cracks in the pavement style, kind of. New little flowers as harsh winter turns into curious, eager spring.
And as scary as it is, it feels good. Right, somehow, like Su-bong has always been destined for it. The greatness he’s always been born for manifesting as something as mundane as this: a morning.
