Summary
Jotaro is stuck. As a single, technically unemployed PhD student, his chances of gaining custody of his daughter are slim to none. Having a partner, particularly one with a stable job, would be just what he needs to convince the judge. In a fit of desperation, he calls Kakyoin with a proposition: marry him until the heat dies down.
Against his better judgment, Kakyoin agrees.

Joseph talks over him, all he needed were ten seconds of courage and as soon as he got his chance he decided to use it and say everything, without any filters, “I have a daughter.” He says, voice louder than Caesar’s sarcastic remark, in a serious admission, “My best friend, Suzie, she’s the mother.”
