Summary
Post-season-two. Crowley's moping, Aziraphale wants to fix things, and turns out, there's enough blame to go around.
-----
“You’re being ridiculous.”Crowley very nearly falls over.
Like, actually. He very nearly loses balance for no reason at all and tumbles to the sidewalk next to his car. He’s been playing Aziraphale’s voice in his head for weeks, he’s been trying very hard to drown out the sound of it, in fact, and now suddenly, abruptly—
“What are you doing here,” is all he can think to say. He whirls around, and there he is. On Crowley’s right, standing there like he’d never left. Where he belongs, Crowley’s mind helpfully supplies. He wishes he could punch himself in the brain, knock the thoughts right on out of there.

Summary
As soon as Aubrey Thyme, psychotherapist, had opened her office door and seen her new client, Anthony J. Crowley, sitting in her waiting area, she was observing and assessing him. At first glance, she paid attention to the following:
--His clothing was expensive and stylish;
--He wore very strange but noticeable cologne;
--His relationship to the seat he occupied could only, very loosely, be described as “sitting;”
--He looked angry;
--He was wearing sunglasses.What Aubrey Thyme, a professional, thought, upon first seeing her new client was: you’re going to be a fun one, aren’t you?

Summary
Nobody would suspect that Aziraphale, reluctant Principality and fidgety Guardian of the Eastern Gate of Eden, would have a tryst with a demon.
This is a good thing. It means they’re less likely to get caught.
“You’re about to say yes, angel,” murmurs the serpent behind him, hot breath against the shell of his ear and hands lost inside Aziraphale’s mint-green silk robe. “I can feel it.”🍎
In which Crowley and Aziraphale have been sleeping together since Eden and somehow still manage to pine after each other for six thousand years.

Summary
“I do like it,” he tells Crowley, albeit quietly now. Then, to illustrate his point, or maybe to try it on for size, “Anthony.”
The candlelight makes a shadowshow of Crowley’s throat, working to swallow the wine he has in his mouth. Aziraphale is walking a fine line. By their unspoken rules he can’t do this, cannot seek out this one truth, should not coax that truth out. But God forgive him, he can’t resist — can’t help trying to summon back what flashes across Crowley’s face for just a moment.—
It’s 1941. Aziraphale realises he’s in love. Then he does something about it.
