Mon opened her eyes, and the fear was still there, but now it was mingled with a reckless, defiant heat. "And if I said I might be willing?" she breathed, the words tasting like treason on her tongue.

Summary
For many years, a certain pizzeria was the place a young girl used to go to as a child. She loved coming here almost everyday to spend time with her favorite animatronics. There is one in particular who stands out to her, because he is the only one who is different from the rest at the time. And she believed in her heart that he might have been alive and her true friend.
However, one day after leaving the restaurant, a tragedy occurs before she can reach home. One that would change her life forever, and returning to that restaurant was out of the question. At least for ten years. It is not until she needs a job that she finds herself returning to the restaurant as a night guard and meeting the animatronic she used to love as a friend for the first time in ten years somehow brings up old feelings.
When she settles into the first night, believing things will be boring and slow, she discovers that the animatronics might be more than they appear. Especially her favorite animatronic, and she soon learns that he did not take it well when she did not return. She had never thought he would even remember her...but as time passes by, she learns that the animatronics are more than they appear.

I wrote a little thing called Mirana's Laboratory, a OUAT/Alice in Wonderland crossover, because when I watch Tim Burton's White Queen float around and move her hands all about in the air, I think of Imp!Rumple. There's a similarity of presenting oneself in costume, hiding behind something like dance or pantomime, and eventually having those things become a part of one's expression. And there's the magic. There's the Dark One and the curious idea that sweet and good Mirana makes potions and flutters her eyelashes over buttery fingers. She forever has dark circles beneath her eyes.
They turned into a ship in my head and not too long after the Laboratory tale, I started this devil. In this story, Zelena has managed to one-up Rumple and jail him, and a team of unlikely rescuers - led by Killian - spring Rumple and hat-hop to his old friend in Marmoreal/Wonderland. There's a bit of going native, hanging around and getting dreamy, drunk and curious while plans are made to overthrow Zelena.

“All right,” Obi-Wan gestured for her to lead the way and followed after her when she turned to head to the front of the ship. It was difficult to navigate the hall without light, but neither of them seemed to want to ignite their lightsabers. The closer they got to the cockpit, the more Ahsoka found herself brushing random objects aside with her foot. There’d been a struggle in here. Judging by the way Obi-Wan seemed to tense beside her, he’d realized it too. She looked up when he brushed past her and watched curiously while he silently surveyed the mess, his blue eyes sharpening when they spotted the blood. Finally, he drew his lightsaber and ignited it, filling the space of the room with brilliant blue light. Ahsoka noticed a trail of droplets leading away from the cockpit and back down the hallway and stepped out of the way when Obi-Wan began to follow it.
“Master?” Now that she could see, she wished she were still in the dark. There were scratches in the surface of the walls and it was clear that someone had been dragged quite violently through the ship. “What happened here?”
