Rey is counting down the days until she can finally finish her engineering degree. All she has to do is survive one more year.
That would be easier if she wasn't stuck in the class taught by Professor Ren, a notoriously demanding teacher with impossible standards. Worse still, he's been assigned as her thesis advisor.
They get off on the wrong foot immediately, and it will be a miracle if they don't kill each other before the year is done.

As they play pretend in front of her friends, every moment, every touch, that one kiss, it all made it that much harder to deny if they were really playing pretend at all. They can only keep lying to themselves for so long.
