“Found new Grace friend! Eridians on Eridian ship studying Astrophage, noticed weird human craft on a moon nearby. Need Grace help!” Rocky chattered, his front arms moving frantically as he explained the situation with Grace.
“I- What? A human? Nearby?”
That can’t be possible.. can it? But.. Grace missed humans. Grace missed the touch. The hugs he got from students, the pat on the back he got from Carl after a job well done, he even missed Stratt's handshakes. Would this human be the same? Since they were so far away from earth too? Grace didn't know what he'd do if that wasn't the case; to be denied touch with it being right in front of him. He'd respect that, of course- His mind ran wild, before a loud musical note snapped him out of it. Shaking his head, He leaned back to grab his slip on shoes, as Rocky continued to speak.
"Yes. That is what Rocky said, statement." Rocky sassed, clearly not in the mood to deal with Grace's questions, " Rocky will explain later, Grace get on ship. Hurry!"

Rocky and Grace save Simon from the blood ocean after Eridians spot Simon while they were studying astrophage. Angst, fluff, and then romance follows.

“This okay?” Simon muttered, the vibrations from his words rippling across Grace’s stomach.
“Yes… yes I just…” Grace struggled to catch his breath. “This was not how I was expecting tonight to go.”
Simon paused his kisses. “How did you see this going?”
“I don’t know. We would… talk about it?”
“Do you want to talk instead?”
Grace couldn’t even remember what he wanted to say. Actually, there were no words that described what he wanted. “No. No, keep going.”

Or Eridians find Simon's submarine while spreading Astrophage to the galaxy and bring him back to Erid. Grace has to change his normal routine to help this new human adjust to life. Slowly, they get to know one another, despite Simon potentially being a war criminal from a moon with an ocean full of blood. But there's just something else about Simon that Grace can't shake, and he's pretty sure Simon feels it too...- Language:
