Summary
Katsuki and Izuku don't know if they believe in soulmates, but they know they're connected somehow. They were both sure they'd made their choice.

It was hidden, easily enough by his watchband, only a few indistinguishable lines showing at all. No one noticed and he never mentioned it. But seeing Katsuki drift further and further from him only made Izuku feel worse, and like the universe was playing a prank on him.
Was it because he was Quirkless? It seemed like that was largely the source of Katsuki's ire. And if Katsuki was his soulmate, what kind of mark could Katsuki bear for him without a Quirk? Izuku found these questions swirling in his mind all too often, a perfect storm of misery.
