Summary
Manwë was fairly sure that, despite the ever-constant nature of his physical form, his hair had actually changed colour. Where before it had been a brilliant blue-white that implied divinity and all that came with it, it was now the translucent grey-white generally found in the very old or the very stressed.
He blamed Melkor.

Summary
Kurapika was determined to get sober, this time. He was willing to put in the work, go to meetings, actually try. He couldn't keep going the way he was going—clawing his way through survival, and leaving a wake of destruction in his path as he did so. He'd had enough of being miserable for ten lifetimes. And staying away from him was his best possible chance at getting anywhere close to peace. Kurapika thought he really could do it. He had his first taste of hope in what felt like years—one that wasn't brought about by a synthetic chemical, at least.
And maybe he could've done it. He'd never get to know, since there seemed to be a conspiracy working against him.
Chrollo picked up on the second ring.

To curb the rampant hostility in alpha prisons, Yorknew City has implemented an experimental Omega Therapy Program. After a risk assessment, alpha inmates are paired up with omega volunteers for visitation periods. For the alphas, the program is intended to provide a sense of normalcy, comfort, and serve as an incentive for them to be well-behaved.
For Kurapika, it's an opportunity to get close to Tserracnich so he can finally put that monster down for good. If he can get assigned as Tserracnich's therapy omega, that is.
