Summary
Oblivion Logistics promised a simple dive: a deep-trench data retrieval to work off a Class-D debt. For the mechanic trapped in the failing ST-4N, it was the only way to buy a ticket back to the surface and a real window for the woman left behind in the smog.
But the hull is buckling, the emergency lights are dead, and the things waiting in the dark know her name. When a crackling radio frequency offers a fragile tether to another stranded pilot, it becomes a desperate race against the crushing black to finally go home—and a chance to finally rebrand and claim the name meant to break him. But the ocean doesn't care about second chances, or gender.
The loudest leviathans in the deep don't hunt with their eyes.

Summary
It can be rather disorienting waking up in a place you don’t recognize, especially after getting knocked unconscious by violent turbulence.
Simon, a convict under the COI, was tasked with investigating the blood ocean. The Expendable, a convict under Urbanshade, was tasked with retrieving the crystal.
But now the Expendable is stuck in a slowly flooding submarine under an ocean of blood in a sea of dead stars, and Simon is stuck in a labyrinth of endless blue halls and doors. How frightening.
