Buck takes this moment to finally say, “I'm Buck by the way.”
“Bobby,” the man—Bobby—answers.
Buck looks at Bobby, studying him. “Yeah, you look like a Bobby.”
Bobby's eyebrows both furrow while also raise in confusion. “What is that supposed to mean?”
Buck shrugs. “It means you look like a Bobby.”
Bobby laughs, disbelief filling the air but it sounds good natured. “Whatever kid.”
Or, Bobby fresh out of rehab is on a roadtrip across the States as recommended by his sponsor Wendall. He doesn't know what he's looking for, but Wendall told him it's more about the journey anyway than the destination. Buck's been on his roadtrip of soul searching for four years now and still hasn't found what he's looking for. The two of them run into each other and find out that maybe it wasn't a what they were looking for but a who.
Or, or, a story of healing and finding one's self again.

Leo struggled to catch Mike’s face as he moved around the kitchen. Mikey didn’t move this much when he was talking to his brothers, normally. But today, the ploy was obvious, and Leo had to give up trying to face him while talking.
“Dude?” Mikey started, finally looking right at him, “is something wrong?”
Leo glared at his brother, “no.” He bit out, hating himself for falling right into his brother’s trap.
“Hm, that’s interesting.” He turned around, the fucker, and kept talking while facing his pot. “I could—and ma—only if—Donnie—” the words broke around each other, giving Leo nothing to work off of except Donnie and a possible ultimatum? He wasn’t sure, and Mikey knew it. He looked over his shoulder, a smug grin barely hidden on his face, “You not gunna answer me, man?”

Leo starts to lose his hearing and decides his brother's don't have to know, that goes about as well as expected.

Of course, nothing ever went Leo's way. Why would they? The universe had it out for him, he knew it. A wanted poster pasted on the fates wall. 'This one', he knew they’d say, 'this one deserves it'.
Maybe they’d just cut the leg right off, maybe they’d slice him down the plastron. Maybe they’d let him die. Wouldn’t that be something, Leonardo, leader, brother, killed because his knee hurt a little.
With that, he pushed his arms to move, blocked the sword, and stood the fuck back up. Pain was in the mind, anyway. What was a knee to him? He could overcome anything, and he would overcome this.

We don’t really have conversations where I can just…talk anymore I guess. If it’s not hockey, it all leads back to hockey. I know Dad kind of hates it, but I don’t know how to stop it because there hasn’t exactly been another time of my life where we did.
I think I started these letters when things started to look really serious for hockey—when the idea of making hockey my career became less of something I’d been working towards my whole life, to something that had already become my whole life and was going to inject itself further into my veins. I honestly can’t pinpoint when that happened either.
Or, The night it ends with Rose, Shane turns to a coping mechanism he hasn't used since before his rookie season: writing letters to nowhere so he can say everything he can't.
