Summary
Buck was concerned to put it mildly. Ever since Eddie had arrived to work (late mind you) he had been… in a mood? Angry? Upset? Annoyed? Buck couldn't really describe what his best friend was feeling because there seemed to be too much going on, but he was currently watching said best friend working out some of his emotions onto a poor old punching bag and wondering what the hell was going on.
...
Eddie finds out he's a carrier during a routine check-up and is pissed at his parents for hiding it from him. For lying to him. He turns up to work pissed, and Buck is more than a little concerned about his buddie. When Eddie reveals that he is a carrier to him, though... well, let's just say that some idiot4idiot behaviour ensues when Buck thinks Eddie is pregnant from someone else, and Eddie has his sexuality crisis and abandons work even though he was in fact late for his shift. Followed by a first kiss in the rain, lots of family fluff, future pregnant Eddie, and some good food for verse4verse truthers. Hopefully. And yes, I really do think that chapter one is the funniest thing I have ever written in my life.
Enjoy, my loves xx

Summary
“It’s like those ‘I love you’ post-it notes you see parents putting in kids' lunchboxes to try to embarrass them or to just remind them they’re loved. Or both in some cases,” Ravi laughs. “I’m sure Chris loved it though, Eddie told me one time that Chris loved all your animal facts when you guys would go to the zoo.”
Buck smiles softly at the memories of the zoo with Chris and Eddie. And now that he thinks about it, Buck has seen those videos and deep down wished his parents had done something like that—it’s cute. Chris deserves something like that, something to remind him that he is loved.
Buck makes the decision then and there: any day he makes Chris’ lunch, he’s going to put a fun fact in there for him.

Summary
Let's just say that Buck and Eddie were very happy to finally be off work. They’d been mercilessly teasing each other for their whole shift, so it was fair to say they were pretty damn pent-up. They could barely keep their hands off each other at the station as they got ready to leave, let alone on the ride home.
As soon as they pulled into Eddie’s driveway, both men rushed out of the car. Buck stood behind Eddie, plastering himself to his boyfriend and nuzzling his nose into his neck, mouthing at it as the brunette man fumbled with his keys, trying to unlock the door.
“Eds, if you don’t get this door unlocked in the next minute, we’re gonna get arrested for public indecency,” Buck mumbled deeply, kissing just behind Eddie’s ear.
“Mmmm… Buck, if you keep distracting me, I’ll never get the damn door unlocked.” Eddie breathed as he fumbled with his keys again.

Summary
“We could do something,” he offers, his voice a little softer.
Buck lights up, looking startlingly like a dog who’s just been offered his most favorite food in the world.
“Really?” he asks, audibly excited, blue eyes bright. “With— both of you?”
Eddie smiles, charmed. “We’re kind of a package deal,” he admits.
“Yeah!” Chris says, grinning, and then wrapping his arms around Eddie’s neck. Eddie had never imagined that his kid would be the reason he got a date, but now he’s seeing how it might be appealing under the right circumstances.
in the summer of 2018, buck and eddie meet a little differently and fall in love a lot faster.

Summary
“I told him you could help.” Christopher says with such confidence that Eddie’s heart jumps into his throat. Because to Eddie, this isn’t a fight he can win. “Please help him.”
“Christopher.” Eddie whispers and looks back down at the likely dying wild animal his son brought home.
“Please?” Christopher’s eyes are wide and wet and looking at him with such hope.
What can Eddie do? Say no? Of course not. “I’ll try, but Mijo, it looks pretty hurt.”
“You can save him.” Christopher insists. “I know you can.”
