A retelling of the novel, War of the Worlds but more closer to the 1953 movie adaption by Byron Haskin but with a Fairy Tail twist.
Dr. Rufus Lore is a young scientist from England who is called out to the United States, Magnolia, to the site of meteorite crash where he meets a young, inspiring artist named Gray Fullbuster where an attraction beings to bloom between the two. Soon, a war machine of otherworldly origins, emerges from the meteorite and begins a murderous rampage of death and destruction, with weapons and technology that they are powerless against. Gray and Rufus are forced to flee from the destruction, while trying to discover the war machine's weakness or find a way to stop them before all humanity is destroyed.
