“Stop!” He cried, held back by one of the demons she’d brought with her. They were too strong for him to take alone, but looking at Katsuki’s body, he didn’t care. His only reason for living was lying dead on the floor. “I’ll kill you! I’ll send every single one of you back to hell!”
“And how are you going do that?” Lilith questioned, batting her eyes and touching her finger to her lip in mock innocence, “Your comrade is dead, and let us be honest, we both know he was the muscle.”
The truth of that caused the life to fade from Izuku’s tired body. He knows he wasn’t the fighter between the two of them. A strategist, sure, and good backup in a tight pinch, but Izuku had always been someone who abhorred violence, even against the immortal hordes of hell.
“But you have spirit. I’ll give you that,” Lilith grinned, her white teeth on display. “How would you like to make a deal, Izuku Midoriya?”
