I'm participating in the #HaladrielSummerBash for the "Summer of
'69" prompt that I submitted but it could also fall into the category of the Music Concert AU I guess
I decided to go with a collage art
piece. Halbrands face has been plastered over Jim Morrison (sorry Jim). Everything has been cut and pasted and then finished in Lightroom. No Al was used. I hope you like the finished product! -

Galadriel travels (unwillingly and unknowingly) back in time. Appearing in someone else's body in a fortress of Angband with her own memories of the future intact. Who put her there and why is anyone's guess but surviving the Iron Prison and it's rulers will turn out even more difficult than she would expect, and for reasons she wouldn't even allow herself to think.

Summary
After the final Breaking of the World when existence is remade by its creator Eru Ilúvatar, second chances are possible. A little Artanis goes into the city with her brother, Finrod, and meets someone who isn't an Elf at the forge. Intrigued by Mairon, who is a Maia instead of an Elf like her, she keeps coming by to visit him throughout the years, and he visits her family, too. They develop a fast friendship, but the older Artanis becomes, the harder it is to remain just friends.
Written for a prompt asking for Sauron/Galadriel fic post-canon, post-LOTR, anything goes. This is where my mind went.

She said, with that voice full of superstition and fear, that it wasn’t wise to walk under the full moon, carrying blood in her womb. According to Míriel, the darkness could feel... perceive... and certain things would awaken when the scent of blood spread through the mist.
But Galadriel had never allowed herself to be swayed by her friend’s superstitions. After all, even before blooming at fourteen, she had walked alone across the vast estate, guided only by the pale light of the moon. She would silently admire the vastness of the night sky, where the stars seemed like distant and indifferent gods. Galadriel reveled in the cold touch of dew on her skin, the icy kiss of the full moon on her face, while her voice was lost in the darkness, offering songs to the ghosts.
