A personal rewrite of the series Helluva Boss. I do not want to replace the original series, if anything I love it and are writing this fic as a tribute to what Vivziepop has created. Rather, this is to strengthen things where the series falters, and to add my own personal twists and tricks onto the story.

When Rouge starts noticing something off about him, she turns to the only person stubborn enough to get through to Shadow: Sonic. She knows that, somehow, the blue hedgehog has a way of breaking past his walls.
And, as expected, it doesn’t take long before Sonic discovers Shadow’s new… additions. True to form, Sonic immediately decides he’s going to help (whether Shadow wants him to or not).
