Summary
Gavin grunts and spits on the carpet, still on all fours. He leans back, looks up to RK900 and, for the second time in the short time he’s known it, Gavin stops to chew on how much he despises that the android was designed to be taller than he is. It has gone back to its trademark hand-joined-at-its-back posture, composed as ever and without so much as a scratch.
There is, however, a strange glint to its steely eyes, and one of its eyebrows is set slightly higher than the other.
‘I’m looking forward to seeing you at the DPD on Thursday, detective.'

Summary
Slowly, like the trickling warmth of the tide coming in, the flush rises in Gavin's cheeks. He doesn't answer, just stomps away as belligerently as he can with two dozen eggs nestled in his apron, while Tina and Chris exchange their animated chatter. Spellbound still, Nines follows Gavin with his eyes until he stomps into the staff entrance and disappears from sight.
Two different things, what Nines is meant to do and what he has come here for.

Summary
At first Neville is distressed when he sees old nemesis Draco eating lunch in the Leaky Cauldron. But then Draco smiles at his dining companion, and it's so dazzling that Neville is reduced to gibberish. Neville learns that Draco has plans to escape his past mistakes and start over somewhere far away. It's up to Neville to convince Draco to have a little more faith in the wizarding community.

Summary
When Gavin gets invited to his boring, uptight cousin's wedding, he doesn't even want to make to effort to go. Even after his dad tells him to bring somebody who'll turn heads and start trouble, Gavin isn't sure who to bring with him, until he settles on his partner, the stone cold RK900.
Just because it'll be hilarious. Not because Gavin actually likes working with him or thinks he's kind of funny or wants to get to know him better. Definitely not.
