“A true warrior fights not because he hates what is in front of him, but because he loves what is behind him.” – J.R.R. Tolkien
Kaien didn't really sign up for fixing the world, but he's sure gonna try regardless. Doesn't help/hurt that he's stuck here.
I will add trigger warnings as needed.
There may be slight inconsistencies/editing errors, please be polite and don't bash me for those. Just point them out and I'll mark them down to deal with later. I'm simply trying to just upload as much as I can before I go back and do the minor edits. I'm trying to push myself to stop being a perfectionist and procrastinator by doing my best to go back later.
Thanks for the patience and understanding! I hope you enjoy this endeavor of mine! I'm currently in college right now, so please be patient if there's a space of time with no uploads.

Summary
*Inspired by Kathryn Lasky's Wolves of the Beyond series, various animated YouTube series, Warriors, Wings of Fire*
The Land is dying.
For generations, the five wolf clans have shared the regions of their home. From the ash sedimented slopes of FireFang to the sandy hills of the ocean known as SaltWater, wolves have been born, lived, and have died.
But the reach of FireFang has spread to the edges of the Land, spreading more ash and heat than usual. The clans can't survive the oncoming eruption. Not even the Ash Clan, whose territory is at the foot of FireFang itself.Amongst the first of the warning earthquakes, a pup is born. The Ash Clan stumble upon the pup alone, with no parents around and no discernible clan scent. The pup is taken into their folds, where he learns the ways of reading the warnings and of the prophecies passed down through the generations of Ash Clan.
Will this young wolf be able to learn what part he has to play in the oncoming end?

(Semi-based on my full run of Skyrim using an Argonian named Fen'lin Water-Shadow)
Come, sit by the fire and listen as I spin the tale of the Last Dovahkiin and his legends.
Fen'lin Water-Shadow, an Argonian of high renown, started his story by joining the Thieves Guild of Riften. There, while dealing with Mercer Frey and his betrayals, he met Marcurio the mercenary, and they fell in love.
We start our tale some years after the end of Under New Management...- Language:

Summary
Three kits have been born, daughter and sons to Squirrelflight and Brambleclaw. As far as any cat knows, they are average cats and will live normal, happy lives, but they, and perhaps Starclan as well, have greater plans. Jaykit, Hollykit, and Lionkit are all strong-willed cats, but with wills and talents leading them in such different directions, it will be a challenge for them to not only find their places in the world, but remain close with each other. That relationship will be more important than any of them could possibly guess.

Summary
This is one of my final essays for English 131 at the University of Washington. The original assignment called for a short two to three page double spaced paper discussing two readings. I naturally, went above and beyond.
Structured like a lecture, and certainly featuring the length of one, I bring in the two readings, personal experience, and a lot of outside information to critically analyze the lack of linguistic worldbuilding in Wings of Fire, and the effects of its absence. I sincerely hope you all enjoy reading this, as much as I had writing it. I've split my seven thousand word essay into two chunks to make it easier on the eyes.
"I feel that that transformation could have been more nuanced and well written with more worldbuilding and especially linguistic aspects properly done. Winter’s transformation could have been more than just seeing that fighting for a ranking on a wall was meaningless. It could have been sharing bits of each other’s cultures with each other, teaching each other little words here or there."
