Summary
Roasters on Main makes the best coffee in the city.
Okay, that’s probably not true, but for the prices and the location, it’s the best coffee they’re going to find and still get to work on time.
If they ever get out of the driveway, that is.

Summary
“Why the hell are you here, Ian?”
Mickey’s tone is defeated, and his shoulders barely hold their shape. He’s tired. Exhausted, really. Ian can see that in every line of his body, every curve of his face.
There’s so much that Ian wants to say to him, so much he wants to scream across this phone line connecting them, but he can’t. His head is a mess, in more ways than one, and no matter how fast he tries to parse through his tidal wave of emotions, he can’t figure them out.
He broke up with Mickey. Right?
Only now, he can’t really remember why.
“I don’t know,” Ian says honestly, and hopes it’s enough.
(It’s not.)

Summary
Mickey left the room quickly and Ian stared at the gun. Mickey was not the type of person to easily give up the things he had won. Ian had only ever known him to take what he wanted without giving a shit. Ian picked up the gun and put it in his waistband, knowing in some small way this was Mickey giving in.

Summary
A little gap-filler of the sleepover. It doubles as a Mickey introspective/character study.
It explores Mickey's feelings evolving, and being much more apparent in Season 3.It's mostly just kissing (because they've got a lot of wasted time to make up for), and miscommunication (in the sense that Mickey struggles with how to communicate).
"So perhaps he couldn’t tell Ian everything he felt, but he could show him. He could offer it up in flesh like the many times before, give Ian permission to do the things he’d never let him."
