Surely this was normal, right? I thought as I looked down at myself, wrapped up in my own thoughts. Lately I had been feeling weird, I knew the Kraang were gone, we locked them in the prison dimension, but sometimes I could just sense them. I knew that couldn’t be right, but sometimes the thought just lurked in my mind, waiting to resurface.
My eyes trailed to the corner of my room and I froze. Something was there sitting in the corner of the room, its glowing red eyes boring into me. I sucked in a sharp breath through my mouth, making eye contact with the thing, was it the Krang? Small tendrils of a voice floated around my ears, I couldn’t quite place it, but it sounded familiar.

Dad didn't answer this time, busy rubbing the corners of his eyes as if he was seriously considering picking them out once and for all and never having to look at Leo or any of his brothers again. But since he made that face an average of three times a day, no one was impressed anymore.

An alarm blares. All of them jump. April drops the scissors into the sink and squeezes the gogurt so hard that it gushes out across her fist. Leo tenses, winces, and slowly relaxes, whining and rubbing his chest, "Mama Mia, what is that for?" Donnie's heart launches into his throat. His phone buzzes in his pocket at the same moment and continues frantically, and his right arm goes inexplicably pins-and-needles. He whips around to look at the other computer monitor.
A small turtle silhouette ringed in orange appears on the screen along with half a dozen flashing boxes. Vitals are in the red.
Donnie shouts, "Mikey!" and launches out of the chair.
