Summary
Mara awoke surrounded by sulfur and death. Her head was empty save for her name, a tadpole, and violent thoughts of spreading death.
Upon escaping from perdition, she finds more individuals similarly infected with the encroaching parasite. If she hopes to solve the mystery of her dark mind, she must work together to cure themselves of their affliction.
All she has to do is avoid becoming a monster, although she's not sure which is worse: the worm squirming in her head, threatening to burst, or the one lurking in the dark of her mind, whispering of violence.
Remix of in-game and original content. Will cover Acts 1 & 2 of BG3.

Summary
All of my Mass Effect stories take place in the same universe, so there is a continuity between characters and events. That said, no one story is required reading. The various stories and chapters feature multiple different points of view. There are a few original characters, but the story POVs are main cast, excluding Shepard herself. While there are additions and deviations, the stories hew fairly closely to overall game canon (such as it is).

Summary
From the moment the Nautiloid crashed and Salli awoke on the beach, she had been never so certain of anything in her life than getting the parasite out of her head. And she had never been so uncertain of anything in her life than the strange elf she meets just moments later.
Eventual fluff/smut, plenty of angst and tears of all sorts later on.

His eyes drop to her mouth, and his thumb reaches out to trace her bottom lip.“What would you do,” Astarion asks, voice a low whisper, “if I kissed you right now?”
June may have realized she sees him as a friend, but that doesn’t stop her from playing his game. She doesn’t think he hates her anymore, but she doesn’t think he’s actually interested in her, either.
So she smiles, expecting that he’ll back down when she calls his bluff. He’s never followed through before, after all. Why should now be any different?
“Why don’t you find out?” she asks.
* * *Between the nightmares, prophetic visions, and violent hallucinations, June is losing grip on reality, but she has enough awareness to know that Astarion's flirtation is part of some sort of con. He barely even likes her, after all. When she decides to call his bluff and play along, thinking he'll back down, she's surprised to discover that she and the vampire have more in common than either could have anticipated. And his touch might be the only thing that can keep her sane.
