You didn’t have a name for what you were. An amalgamation of pure elemental energy in the form of a round and bouncy thing, held together by a smooth membrane. Humans called you a “slime”, and you guessed it worked good enough.
Living your life carefree in Mondstad plaines, your path eventually crossed that of somebody you would remember all your slime-life.
He was resting under a tree, his sword carelessly cast aside and his unique eye staring into space. You recoil seeing a vision at his hips. You actually never met one of those special humans that could wield elemental energy, but you weren't ignorant. One could say you were the most intelligent slime to ever be. you knew that you should keep your distance. But then, he spotted you.
His long, deep blue hair shifted in the wind, and a one-eyed gaze bore into you. You felt entranced.
Or: You are a slime that falls in love with one charming Cavalry Captain.

“Do not presume to look down on me, Dr. Ratio.”
It’s hard to breathe. Sunday’s cold anger is pressing in through the Harmony, loud enough to mask the agonizing grief, putting pressure on Ratio’s mind and his chest and settling like a heavy weight in his gut. Still, Ratio laughs weakly. When he speaks it comes out as something between a gasp for breath and a whisper. “Hah … Pathetic.”
Displeasure is clear in the flat stare Sunday looks at Ratio with. He is silent for a long moment before the tension in his expression dissipates into a vindictive smile. “Perhaps you’ll be more amenable to behaving if you are otherwise occupied. You seemed to quite enjoy those activities from our last meeting, after all.”
