A bait Jisung is all too willing to hook himself on. “You can meow for me.”
What?
Jisung chokes and coughs when the spit goes down the wrong pipe, “What?”
“Meow for me. Like nyang.” Minho lazily mimics cat ears over his head and god, it’s fucking cute. Even when he feels like he’s about to be chewed up and swallowed whole. It would be a good way to go, he thinks. Death by predatory cuteness.
Although, Jisung is pretty sure this is not part of his job description. To meow for the escorts on demand. He also doesn’t think escorts are allowed to extort money from their coworkers but what does he know? He figures this might be a strangely common occurrence since no one has rushed in and saved Jisung yet.
Something makes him fold like the Chan-like voice in his head tells him to do. There’s no one else here to witness this, just him and Minho. The man he met five minutes ago. But, better his pride than being set back into financial disaster. For the sake of his wallet.
He drags a hand up to mimic the cat ears the way Minho did, tilts his head and gives a tentative, “Nyang.”

Summary
Jisung hasn’t been single in a long time. He’s needy, codependent, he craves attention and affection and he’s not used to not having that whenever he wants. And that’s the problem. His last relationship dragged on long after the passion dried up because it was comfortable enough to be better than the alternative. Which is why, when Keeho dumped him, Jisung decided it was time to develop some independence and learn how to think with his head and his heart over his… Enter Jisung’s single girl era!
Minho is very not like that and prefers having fun while staying unattached. But, as Jisung’s best friend (not counting Felix because he refuses to compete with that), he really wants to be there for him. He’s just not totally sure how. His idea of help isn’t what Jisung needs and he’s trying to behave and be a good friend. By sending him videos to cheer him up and keep him distracted.
It works. Really well.
