    When Midoriya was diagnosed as quirkless, Bakugo was certain his friend could become a hero by helping him and being “the man in the chair.” He and Midoriya stayed Kacchan and Zuku even when they go to different High Schools. At UA Bakugo mentions his friend multiple times and everyone builds a version of this mysterious friend, who seems slightly insane with the stuff Bakugo says about him.
    … Until they come face to face to him at the Provisional Hero License exam and he is the opposite of anything they thought.

    AKA what if Bakugo stayed friends with Midoriya and he never got OFA (and I accidentally made Bakugo the main character)

    Midoriya Izuku was a quirkless quirk analyst in the modern world of quirks. He had come to terms with that. His desire to be a hero was eventually directed into his job and also his lifelong hobby: drawing. Still a hero fanboy, he drew and posted lots of heroes on his art account on Twitter. Receiving commissions wasn't an unusual thing for him, but one sure did capture his attention.

    Or, Midoriya Izuku received a really vague commission request from a private account with the username @bakusatsugou.

    “Hey!” Izuku calls, but the man doesn’t turn around. Annoyed, Izuku reaches the man, spinning him around by the shoulder. “What happened? Why aren't you with your team?” He asks, looking the man up and down. He seems fine. The man scowls in confusion, red eyes glaring.

    “Hah? The fuck you talking about,” he says, using his height to lean over Izuku. But this is all a terrible mistake on his part. Izuku is in disaster management mode, and he will take no bullshit.

    “Do not speak to me like that,” he says, voice deep and low. The man flinches back in shock, but Izuku is already moving on. “Management radioing, who’s in need of assistance? Over and out.”

    If this man has time to come all the way to the front and be an ass, then he has the free time to help out with any team in need, Izuku angrily reasons.

    Or, Izuku is a disaster management specialist and one day accidentally mistakes Pro-Hero Ground Zero for one of his team members, thus sparking their friendship.
