As the normal people of the cities bustle about their 9-5 jobs and the college students either study or party like lunatics, the urban legends of the forest lingering just beyond the Red Wine National Park lie dormant, waiting for a nosy journalist or a group of teenagers to wander their way into their territory. Because, of course, why wouldn't they? After all, nobody likes trespassers.

This fic is a bit of a slice of life. There's a lot of canon divergence and a lot of characters have their own backstory that I have either altered or rewritten. Earlier chapters will likely be slightly edited to make things more coherent as I add new chapters. Whether or not you reread is your choice.

Summary
Partypoopers and Partygoers never got along. Everyone knows that. The Partypoopers see the Partygoers as relentless killing machines and Partygoers saw Partypoopers as mean buzzkills. What used to be a mutual yet semi-peaceful rivalry changed for the worst when Sarge, the Partypooper in charge, declared war after a particularly harrowing incident with their most vulnerable and "special" member. A kid, still only in training, the cause of the war, and maybe, just maybe, its only survivor.
