    Yoojin is a reluctant man who keeps getting "kidnapped" by Sung Hyunjae, the city's most annoying businessman and guild leader. Except, Hyunjae isn’t actually doing much. He’s making him tea, casually flirting between patch-ups, and even serving him dinner of the finest cuisine. Yoojin would be angrier if Hyunjae weren’t so annoyingly competent at making him feel safe.

    AKA many times when Hyunjae takes care of Yoojin while Yoojin is trying to save his baby brother (typical).

Hyunjae's dimly lit office, where the enormous fishtank transforms the world into shifting azure light and darting sapphire shadows. Where Sung Hyunjae stands waiting in the dark, his arms crossed, his expression deceptively mild.

    Where Yoojin is forced to sit in solitary splendor on the cold tile floor, naked, surrounded by coil upon coil of chain - a glinting, glittering ouroboros that cradles him in its embrace.

    He glares up at Hyunjae.

    Yoojin demands, "You know what an idiom is, don't you? You understand that these things aren't supposed to be taken literally?"

    "Is my dear partner going back on his word?" The deep voice's tones are silky.
