When Neil was six, Mary decided she had enough and took things into her hands. But she didn’t run away, no. She did something much smarter instead. And the future changed.
Now Neil is going to college and joining the PSU’s exy team, only to be met with a group of people more interesting than he imagined. He’s certain that he could fix the mess that the Foxes are if he so desired.
But what’s the fun in that?
He wants to see how much he can ruin them instead.
The only catch: Neil didn’t expect that the Foxes would thrive in the chaos instead of crashing to the ground.

He never asked for it or sought it, but he ended up finding part of the truth in the veins that ran through the ground, in the blood that the trees dropped and in the whispers that the wind dictated in the twilight. His mother is dead, his father wants to kill him, and he has been trying to forget his real name for nine years.
And then he ended up in Columbia for supplies, got attacked and met one more pack of canines to add to his list.

Quando percebeu que a pura existência de Andrew colocava a si, e sua família em risco, deveria ter sido maduro o suficiente para resolver aquilo da maneira mais simples. Era imortal, e a imortalidade deveria significar ter algum privilégio.
Mas Neil jurou jamais se tornar um monstro, como aqueles de seu passado.
