It never seems to affect the growth of Audrey II, but he does it anyway. “You’re gonna bloom and be a spectacle for everyone to see. We’ll make ‘em travel miles.” No kind of fertilizer or amount of sunshine ever seems to do anything either. Still, he takes care of the plant, as he does any other plant in Mushnik’s shop.

Summary
Astarion grabbed his hand, fast, not that he thought the fool would actually run. He just knew that his eyes would flick up to his, searching for an answer, a sign that this was alright, and he wouldn’t look anywhere else. It was saved, then. No use wondering if it would ruin the end of their little date if he gutted himself or threw himself off the city walls in the face of this twist.
There was only one way this would end. And it never ended with Astarion escaping.

You turn in horror to see Astarion's lips curl into a sinister, devious grin. His head turns up and he lowers his eyes at you.

Though despite walking away, you couldn't deny the fact that you still loved him so dearly. And if you ever went back, you knew you'd never be able to leave him again.
But Astarion is refusing to let you go.
He knew how you still felt about him. He knew he could make you his again. And that was exactly what he was planning to do...the only way he knew how.
