    He tried to think about her question, about how he would know. It was more difficult than he gave it any credit to be, not having an example of it, not having felt it in his own flesh in all his years. He would assume it would start closer to an obsession or a strong attraction, having the person in his mind all the time, wishing for them to be close, or closer in his case, taking a pause to breathe each time their eyes clashed, admiring the dimples on her cheeks each time she fully smiled thanks to him. Yes, those would be signs that something was wrong with him, wouldn’t they?
