Summary
Yukio has always prided himself on his faith- his obedience to God, to the village... and to Father. Yet beneath his dutiful persona, he hungers for normalcy, for connection, for a life all his own. But when his desires drive him to defy his Father's wishes, he unwittingly draws the attention of something ancient, something powerful.
