Summary
Knowing the marriage of his Shijie wouldn't occupy the Sects very much longer, Wei Wuxian decided it was time to move on before they targeted the Wen remnants again.
These people were his, now, and he would do anything to protect them ,but also, to see them thrive. Especially the precious A-Yuan who smiled despite the dreary enregy of the Burial Mounds.
However, trying to neutralize the Yin Tiger Seal and reinforce the barriers, an unexpected troublemaker threw his careful plans out of the window.
"Attempt the impossible" said the Jiang motto, but Wei Wuxian was unsure how to navigate his new circonstances. Luckily, in his misery, he gained a new family and maybe could he win his old one back too ? At least he would never be alone again.

Summary

Summary
He wished he could leave the Jingshi, but he was the Yiling Laozu. He was public enemy number one. Especially after what happened to—to the Peacock. People were already terrified of him and accused him of all kinds of things he hadn't done. But add to that something he actually had done? Attacked the cultivation chief's son with his Ghost General and left him gravely injured and comatose? Even if it was an accident, he couldn't exactly walk around and expect people not to panic or try to take him out. It wasn't safe to leave this house.
So here he sits. Like an animal in a cage. Trapped. Tamed. But safe.
